AVA has designed a telescopic lance that can make washing at height easier and safer.
It could be somewhat difficult and heavy to use at first, but you will quickly get a good technique. It is safer than the alternatives, for example using a ladder, or using time and resources putting up a scaffold.
The unique AVA benefits are:
An adjustable angled head, two options for applying soap, and reduced washing effort.
Adjustable angled head: This allows you to set the nozzle so that you can wash downwards. Especially important if you have a horizontal section along your roof, but also practical for getting the right angle if you use a brush or other accessories high up on the wall. Our thinking is that different heights require different angles, so you can have maximum effect, all the way up the wall whilst standing on the ground!
Two choices for soap application: The simple method is to put the foam cannon on the tip of the lance and start washing. However, although convenient for some, others will find it extra heavy and cumbersome to have a litre of soap so high up, while others want to regulate the amount of soap, or the soap to water ratio on the fly. Our lance comes with an extra hose that can be attached allowing you have the option of using a bottle attachment on the bottom of the lance with the trigger, which also has a ratio adjustment. In this way you get the weight down, a light hose up to the top and here it is attached to the foam cannon via a small extension nipple at the end. You don't even have to retract the lance to refill your soap bottle!
Reduced washing effort: A telescopic lance can be cumbersome to work with, but luckily it gets easieronce you get a little practice. No matter how you feel about it, a telescopic lance will probably be easier than renting scaffolding or a crane, and considerably safer than a ladder. When you first start washing a larger area, you have to work for a while to get it clean. That is why we have integrated our unique Zero Force function into the gun on the lance. This makes it much easier to hold the pistol grip without it "pressing" against the hand and thus a longer work session is much easier on you!
