We have created a guarantee scheme by which we guarantee the lifetime of the product for up to 20 years depending on the type of washer. What you need to do is to have the washer serviced at least every 5 years. In addition, normal maintenance is a prerequisite to maintaining your warranty.
By registering the services performed on our website, the warranty is extended by 5 years. For the models AVA GO, V6 (frame) and Smart, the warranty is extended up to 10 years, for AVA Master and Evolution it is extended up to a full 20 years.
Many products today have a short lifespan and it is difficult to repair them yourself. We want to contribute to lessening use and disposal in society, and will help you so that you can easily and affordably service your washer yourself. We have created a service kit that contains all the pump's parts. These are available in our spare parts store, and by following our instructional videos on the website, you can maintain your own washer.
Read the warranty conditions here.
Some points are covered in breif below:
What is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers parts if, for example, the engine, power transmission or electrical components break. You are thus covered for the repair of things that are not included in a service kit, (where wearing parts such as valves and seals are replaced). If parts are to be covered by the warranty, it is a prerequisite that faults are not due to user error or damage.
Parts such as micro-switch, swivel, drum, main switch, chassis, wheel, front cover, hoop, motor, gear, piston housing (including seals, support rings, piston springs, piston), wiring and capacitor are parts covered by the warranty. The pump housing is covered if it has a manufacturing defect.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Anything that moves mechanically is considered a wearing part, and the same applies to o-rings. The pump's wearing parts are included in the service kit and are not covered. In addition, the hose, gun and nozzles, lance, terrace washer and other accompanying equipment are considered accessories that wear out and are used up along the way. If the nozzle is has worn out and needs replacement, you will not get it covered. In any case, you have a 5-year right to complain about manufacturing defects on accessories in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act.
This is a consumer guarantee, and does not cover products purchased by or used in the course of a business, or for professional use.
Which parts are not covered by warranty:
Brushes in universal motors (GO, Easy and Smart), o-rings, wearing parts included in the service kit and First Aid Kit, fading and discolouration, wear and damage to the washer body.
Included equipment such as water filter, gun, nozzles, lance, hoses, terrace washer, foam cannon, brushes, etc. are not covered beyond the usual 2-year warranty. User errors, frost or other externally caised damage to the products are not covered.
The consumer guarantee does not apply to faults, damages and defects except for from manufacture, for example faults, damages or defects which are caused by
1 - Transport damage or other external influences, including abnormal environmental conditions or influences
2 - Frost or moisture, including storage in particularly humid environments
3 - Improper installation or maintenance
4 - Improper use
5 - O-rings (available in the First Aid Kit and clean wear parts in the pump's valve body and pump head, such as valves and seals)
6 - Use beyond the EU's definition of normally high household use
For the Consumer Guarantee to apply, the nameplate must be complete and legible.
