If you find it difficult to take the hose and gun apart, try the following:
- Switch off machine
- Disconnect/turn off the water supply
- Depress the pistol grip to release the pressure.
When the pressure is gone, it should be possible to detach the gun from the hose. It is released by pressing the button upwards, then pulling the hose. Do not pull on the hose while pushing the button.
Sometimes it is still difficult to loosen it, the trick is to push the hose IN a little first, so that the locking pin is released.
A gun that has been sitting on the hose for several years may have a slightly dry O-ring, which causes the hose to stick.
As long as the locking button is pressed in, there is nothing dangerous to use some force. Feel free to apply grease to the coupling before you put it back in place, then you will avoid this later.
