Why can't I put the turbo-nozzle/0-degree nozzle directly into my gun?

Accessories supplied with our high-pressure washers have been thoroughly reviewed to satisfy current regulations.

Nozzles with 'point' jets are one of the risk points for the user as they can damage eyes or skin, for example if the jet is directed at yourself. To reduce this risk, there must be a minimum length from handle (where the operator is) to the nozzle tip (where the dangerous water jet emerges) on such nozzles.

On this basis, Turbo nozzle or 0-degree nozzle cannot be attached directly to the gun. Other nozzles have a spread that is considered less dangerous, and can therefore be used directly in the gun.

On a general basis, we recommend the use of a lance in as many cases as possible.
